Fees are commensurate with the recommendations of the BC Psychological Association.
A Registered Psychologist's fee is tax-exempt, so no tax is added to your fee.
Fees paid out of your own pocket are considered eligible as a tax deductible medical expense.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your extented health care or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have extented health care benefits that cover a registered psychologist?
- How many sessions per year does my extended health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session with a registered psychologist?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.
Government funds might be available for Veterans, RCMP, Victims of Crime or if sexually abused while in Residential Care.
You may be able to receive funding from other sources such as churches etc.
At this point in time cash and cheques are accepted for payment.
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
